Well that was fast ! Within 48 hours, Dave and his team identified a qualified buyer, arranged for viewing the vessel, and targeted closing of the sale within a week of listing ! We bought the house to dock a boat that we hadn't yet purchased. Dave Struber has been extremely helpful in the process of finding a boat, getting it surveyed, and getting it to our new home. My first contact with Dave from Island Boat Sales. I was looking to sell my boat. He came down to look at it and said 'nice boat - much better than he was expecting. Had my 1st prospective buyer but I developed cold feet and put a kabash on a transaction going forward. Dave actually encouraged me not to rush-sell, to take my time. I'm Troy Barnett, from the Inlets. Dave Struber, of Island Boat Sales sold a high end 2016 Scout 275 LXF for me - FAST. The process was very simple, and his terms were very friendly. Dave sold my boat in 3 days, and he sold it for exactly what I needed to get. It could have been very stressful situation for me. I only owned that boat for a month, before I bought a Scout 275 LXF. I couldn't pass up the deal, and took a chance. I'm glad I had Dave in my corner. He properly advised on how to price the boat, found a legit / vetted buyer, handled the closing, Literally within 3 days of him taking pictures of the boat.. bam.. it was sold. Like magic. Thanks David! you saved me a ton of stress. In fact on top of that, he helped me sell the trailer that came with the 275 that I didn't need. He did that just to say he appreciated my business.. Great experience! Also - I shopped broker services and most of them were rigid on a variety of their terms and conditions - primarily on how they handled the situation if by chance I found my own buyer. Dave's terms are reasonable.

I contacted Dave Struber, owner of Island Boat Sales, about selling our boat. I met him and his wife Sandy the next day at our marina. They spent a good hour going over the boat, taking pictures, etc... Dave is a confident and consummate professional, who just as he claims does business on a handshake. But once he has an offer, it is all business. He is a full service broker, who has the business contacts to handle your sales transaction from marketing, coordinating sea trials, survey, escrow services, and transportation of your boat to its final destination...he gets it done! He kept me apprised throughout the process. He confidently estimated that he would have the boat sold within one month. He had several inquiries during the first week. Within two weeks we received an acceptable bonafide offer (from Australia). We started the process first week in August and we closed just a few days ago.
